The Galaxy Physical Therapy Department is dedicated to transforming lives through expert care and innovative techniques. Our physical therapists are neurological specialists, skilled in treating a wide range of conditions, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke recovery, vestibular disorders, craniosacral therapy, pelvic floor dysfunction, multiple sclerosis, and post-concussion rehabilitation.
Our team holds advanced certifications, including being Vestibular Certified Therapists through the American Institute of Balance, as well as specialized certifications in Parkinson’s-specific therapies, such as LSVT Big and PWR!Moves. These qualifications allow us to provide evidence-based, cutting-edge treatments tailored to each client’s unique needs.
From improving mobility, balance, and coordination to addressing pain and functional challenges, our therapists create personalized plans designed to help clients achieve their goals and "live their best lives." We understand that in the midst of a brain injury or a concussion, that sights, sounds, and smells suddenly might be overwhelming.
Some people experience intense anxiety and mental fogginess. There are visual changes, dizziness, and balance challenges. Many people simply feel misunderstood and not themselves.
Our Galaxy team is here to help you because we understand what you are going through and know how to skillfully guide you to overcome these challenges. We work with brain injury overcomers to help them understand the signs and symptoms they experience, how to track them, and then how to compensate for these new sensations while working to remediate the problems.
We even have our front office staff trained to recognize when you might need the lights dimmed, or when you might need a quiet room to rest in.
